Residential Sales: The Summit County market continues to be extremely strong. When a buyer misses out on a property, that same property usually goes up in value. It is kind of true in the local market where properties are selling at or above list price; and the next property that comes on the market similar to the one that buyer missed is being priced 5%, 10% or even 15% higher. Single

Single Family Homes: Sales are surging (still) and prices are rising (still). Another way to put it, to buy a home today costs an additional $300,000 more than it did last year at this time. At last count there were 30 active listings for single family homes and 160 pending in Summit County.

Condominiums: Sales are up 49% for condominiums! That is a brisk start to the year. The average sold price is up 17% or about $85,000. There are currently 40 active condos on the market, with pending listings at 270. And the list-to-sold price is over 100!
